The boring stuff:
I am a writer/director and actor, selected for BFI x BAFTA crew 2019.
I was selected as a “Female filmmaker under 30 to watch” by Breakthroughs Film Festival.
I studied in Japan (Keio University, Law Degree / Waseda University, Film Studies MA), in France (Lycée International, OIB Baccalauréat) and in England (Nottingham University, International Relations).
I am trilingual: English x French x Japanese, with some remnants of Russian, Spanish and Mandarin when my brain feels like it (hint: a few drinks help).
I also work as a script reader, translator and production secretary. I specialise in productions shooting in Asia (The Outsider/Netflix) and Japanese projects filming abroad (Fin de Matinee/Fuji TV).
The exciting stuff:
I am a horrible but zealous dancer.
You can bribe me with cheese.
If you are creative, driven and have a great sense of humour, we will get along (bonus point if you like Joaquin Phoenix, Zidane and sarcasm).
